Before descaling your boiler with Safe D Scale PLUS, thoroughly flush entire system to remove all loose deposits. Connect circulation pump to lower inlet piping and return to circulation bucket from top of unit. Circulate the suggested Safe D Scale PLUS concentration for two to four hours depending on foaming action of discharge. When foaming stops, determine the strength of the descaler by activity on clean concrete. If the solution still foams, the equipment should be clean. If there is no foaming action evident, the used material has dissolved its capacity and more fresh descaler may be added for additional circulation until completely clean. Drain and flush entire system directly to sewer with clean water and refill.
