Radiator PLUS
Radiator PLUS is a tar oil base solvent, heavily fortified with wetting and penetrating agents used for the rapid removal of water scale, lime and rust deposits found on the water side of any equipment that is water cooled, water heated or water operated, in any manner. The solution does not corrode, erode, attack, pit, oxidize or have other deleterious affects on metals or materials such as: copper, fiber, plastic, iron, steel, rubber and lead.
- Specifically designed for the stubborn glycol-based scale deposits in all radiators
- Safe and effective in removing all fouling deposits from engine cooling systems
- Tested and proven SAFE for all thermostats, gaskets, materials and components
- Can be applied to all fresh-water, sea water or glycol based engine cooling systems
- Excellent for forklifts, auxiliary generators, outboard motors and even automobiles
- All grease and oil deposits should be cleaned with RidOIL prior to a Delta descaling
- Any glycol anti-freeze solutions should be first drained from systems to be cleaned
- Fresh water can be refilled and used to circulate descaler without disposal concerns
- For outboard applications consider placing in a garbage can with diluted descaler
- Engines and systems should be run and warm to ensure all cooling passages open
- Allow for any foaming reaction to be vented out the open radiator cap during cleaning
- Most systems should be cleaned within a half an hour and is complete when foam stops
- After descaling is complete, the solution should be drained to sewer to flush deposits
- A water rinse for an additional 20 minutes will ensure all loosened deposits will flush
- Refill clean radiator with the proper amounts of coolant and water as recommended
- A clean cooling system will run much better and last longer when running cooler
- Engine oil life is dramatically affected by the cooler temps allowed by a safe descaling
- The expected ROI on a thorough and SAFE descaling should be realized within weeks
